Box and its contents are great, but scenarios are really unbalanced. Spanish troops are inferior in much ways, and even they get less number of them... some scenarios there's no chance to win for spanish troops. I hope GMT will balance it somehow, or I will think about getting the new expansions.

The scenarios are great. I love the Spanish Guerrilla Action rule, it is a fun addition to the rule set. High production quality as always. A nice surprise was the addition of to Unit Quick Reference Card covering all the units in the first two box sets!

The Spanish Army is great. All the troop types are in their correct ratios. The French get cool Lancers and Guard Light Cavalry and more Line Infantry. However, they get a ridiculous amount of Heavy Cavalry(which are actually Dragoons and therefor should be "medium cavalry") way out of proportion to the actual French OOB. I would have liked to see more French artillery decals instead. I would also have liked to seen new decals like Engineers, Pontooniers, Siege artillery, and supply wagons...but maybe GMT will provide printable downloads for these in the future. One cool thing you can do is to use Spanish Light Cavalry decals on French cavalry blocks to create "Hussars". I did 6 blocks like this and they really look good. One minor complaint. There were a couple of areas on the decal sheet that were left blank. WHY? Come on GMT give us all the decals you generously give us extra blocks and gamers always love extra stuff. If it were not for the entire half sheet of French Heavy Cavalry(Does anybody want mine? I'll trade the decals and blocks for some infantry and artillery) instead of more useful decals I would give it 5 stars. I hope GMT gives us more unique decals in the future expansion packs. BTW, as far as the new light infantry, grenadier, and heavy cav symbols are concerned...they are ok I guess. I'm kinda ambivelent about them.
