Outstanding tactical-level game showing the differences not only of Roman legion vs other troop types (such as phalanx) but also between various commanders of that period. Plenty of scenarios, all with high replay value.

My second engagement with the GBoH system and it only confirms my belief that it's the premier system for gaming ancient battles.

The definitive simulation of the early Roman Republic. Hannibal, Scipio Africanus, Pyrrhus and their great battles. A pleasure indeed.

Graet Game. Gives a good insight of the tactical use of different types of troops. Some battles are not balanced but when life has been easy?
