Prussia's Glory Extended Example of Play

Torgau Main Scenario

Turns 1-4: Prussian Entry, Approach March, and Attack of Detachment
(LOS, IC movement, ID Deployment Duels, CDOA, Attacks from IC, Routs/Capture)

Turn 2: Pr - the Prussian keeps everyone IC; his command rolls (4 inf, 3 cav) yield Degraded Infantry and Effective Cav. Fred, a 4I (per 6.2.1, can reroll for infantry only) stacked with cav Wing leader Kleist, cannot improve on Kleist's wing movement, and cannot help any Degraded inf wings. The Prussian cav has an opportunity to squirt right past the Austrian southern line's east flank, but that would automatically Activate Daun (6.1.2), and the Prussian doesn't want to let that happen yet. (But it might be fun in some game to shoot the cav into the Austrian rear before Lascy can arrive to close that hole, and see what happens). The Prussian is loathe to bypass Ried's Det and leave it lurking in his rear, and decides to attack the greater portion of it, and moves accordingly here. A - The Austrian stays inactive, but gets good luck on his Lascy reinforcement roll - a 2. Lascy can enter the map, IC if desired, and moves per 26.3.3, here.
