- Map Cards |
. | #4 - Games covering entire wars are either too long and too complicated... or too short and too simple. EnigmaTM games can cover an entire war in 3 hours, while maintaining strategic realism and flavor. |
| #2 - Expenditure of cards to attack. Thus, even a large, successful army will eventually run out of steam (as did the Rebels in Kentucky during the Civil War). This is highly realistic and greatly improves game balance. | #5 - Non-Collectible... and proud of it. While it may not be really innovative, it is damn rare these days. You don't need to take out a loan to have fun playing Blue vs Gray.TM | |
| #3 - Replace cards more-or-less freelyif you can't use them, you don't want to be stuck with them! | ||

| Every game is a bit different and presents its own unique challenges, but there are two major variations on the EnigmaTM theme. | . | Expansion packs consist of cards to be added to your deck, plain and simple. |

| The "Pure" EnigmaTM system games have a quasi-comic book style, which lends itself easily to popular tales and classic literature. Ease of play, compatibility, and flavor are paramount. | Covering historical subjects, the "Wargame Style" EnigmaTM system games must be far more realistic and therefore must vary considerably from the "Pure" system. The emphasis is on accuracy & strategy. | |
| A good example of this would be GODS vs GODDESSESS:TM The Greek Mythology Card Game or Robin Hood vs the High Sheriff of Nottingham.TM | Our newest game, BLUE vs GRAY:TM The Civil War Card Game is of the Wargame style. | |
| There are few rules variations (except for the maps) between different games. |
