Hi guys!

I'm still way behind on getting you guys the latest news, and unfortunately, I am still fighting the flu. But I'm getting better, and rather than wait another couple weeks to gather all the news together and get some new P500s ready before giving you an update, I decided to go ahead and send an update that gives you a peek at our master production schedule for the year. I will work over the next couple weeks to get you an update chock-full of news like usual, but for today, the production schedule gets the focus. I hope you all find that several of the games you've been looking forward to are on it.

One thing I do need to mention before I close (because I don't want any confusion in that it is on the production schedule), is that we ARE going to go ahead and produce Thunder Alley in the 3rd quarter this year, even though the Kickstarter campaign fell short of its goal.

That campaign did give us lots of exposure for the game, and having Tom Vasel call it "one of the two best racing games he's played" got a lot of attention from the Euro crowd. But honestly, even with the great exposure, we still just didn't have sufficient funds to print the game. BUT, as a result of all that exposure, and of playing the prototype, one kind soul has stepped forward and offered to loan us the funds to cover whatever costs our pre-order numbers don't cover when it comes time to print. Given his generous offer, we're going to go ahead and produce the game this year, and will be starting final art production shortly.

We'll be getting back to you with more details on this and all our other P500 games later, but for now, I wanted you to know why we're printing Thunder Alley even though the P500 numbers aren't where they need to be. Now we WOULD like to encourage you guys to go to the Thunder Alley P500 page and order a copy or three, because we'd way rather not have to borrow money to print the game. We think you guys are going to like this one as much as we do - it's just been another one of those games that for some reason has been really hard for us to pre-sell.

Last thing for today is I want to thank Jeff Horger and Chris Schreiber for all the effort they poured into the Kickstarter Campaign. For those of you who pledged for "extras" like car and track sponsorships in the KS campaign, we ARE going to honor those, and Chris and Jeff will be working with you to get all the details worked out before we print.

Thanks, guys, as always, for your support of GMT!

Enjoy the games!

Gene

Tentative Production Schedule

Tony and Mark have laid out a Master Production Schedule for most of 2013. As always, this is a TENTATIVE schedule - things could change based on final development issues, production snags, etc - and new games could pop onto the list as you guys order your favorites. You can figure, though, that the 1st and 2nd Quarter information is pretty firm, with things getting a bit hazier for 3rd and (especially) 4th quarter. So, that said, here's what the current tentative game release schedule looks like:

Online Customer Support
If you have any questions regarding any orders or upcoming charges (or any customer service inquiry), the quickest way to get an answer is to use our Online Chat on the GMT website - which connects you directly to our office ladies. Certainly they'll help you by phone or e-mail as well if you wish, but the online chat is a very fast and easy way to get your questions answered. Note that if you click the "Send a transcript" box when you initiate the chat, you'll get an e-mail transcript of the entire chat for your records. We like this feature, as you get verification of everything that was said just like e-mail, but the response is MUCH quicker. We invite you to try it out the next time you need an answer from the office folks.

That's all for this time.

Enjoy the games!
Sincerely,
